Wonderful lace antimacassar (a fabric accessory for the back of a chair) embroidery pattern/ outline published as a supplement to the July 1884 issue of The Young Ladies' Journal. This is a two page spread, printed on the front only featuring three embroidery patterns and a small set of instructions at the bottom. The piece is in fairly good condition, but has imperfections due to its age. The paper has broken at each side along the fold line, there is some general yellowing and some deterioration to the edges and corners. The colors are bright and cheerful and the instructions can be used to create a new piece today.
